Film Review: Tron

CONCLUSION: The design is exceptional, and the concept is fascinating, but the ho-hum storyline and maintain a 80 “soundtrack in the first film make this a bizarre animal tie, it’s a modern film in a technically and visually, but it feels more like you just for a cheap B-Class 80s movie.

The Good: The original Tron was a cult classic from the ’80s, and although the money made, there was nothing to learn from the “sequel” called. More than two decades later, we get a sequel, and it is shy and suped no cost. The concept of creating a digital world as a forum to help humanity in science and technology is fascinating, and the visual world of director Joseph Kosinski is nothing less than breathtaking, and unlike what you’ve seen (outside the first film of course). The visual style alone makes this film worth the big screen, but there is also other nice extras, including a fully realized younger version of Jeff Bridges plays the villain, with some great CG work. This character, “cluster” is a totalitarian leader in the digital world, and many paintings are homages to history. At these levels, the film can be evaluated and a set of features especially the cycling game for Sam (Hedlund) is the digital world, nothing short of visually stunning. “Tron” is worth at the cinema, if only for the visuals.

The Bad: For such a high concept idea comes the story certainly ho-hum. It’s a bit of a cliche that movies are so so heavy on the technology at the expense of the script, but there was enough seed for something useful ideas here, but never used. The delivery is more a by-the-numbers operation. The actors, including Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde, give a man, the play, but Garrett Hedlund seems strangely miscast. What makes this film is absolutely bizarre, but his 80-style soundtrack. Although you only have a modern optical film, the soundtrack is so powerful that it actually sounds like the feeling you’re just a cheap 80′s movie, almost to the point where you can scratch the film print and audio mono to see in nature proposals. Maybe it was an attempt at something other than the usual big-budget blockbusters, but in this case it is not really work.
